Una conquesta constantment amenaçada pel pes de la tradició, sempre en risc d’un retrocés propiciat per les estructures patriarcals supervivents: les jerarquies religioses institucionalitzades, el sistema de reproducció de rols, les tradicions familiars i culturals… La igualtat legal i social entre els sexes representa un guany profundament desigual en el món actual que sols la incorporació de la dona al domini de la ciència i dels nuclis de poder social i polític pot contribuir a consolidar.
