In the activity “The hidden sounds of the Delta” we will visit the reedbed that surrounds the purification ponds of l’Embut, an environment where living beings can be heard, but rarely can be observed, and where the techniques used by Eloïsa are more than necessary for the detection of the animals which live inside.

A l’activitat “Els sons amagats del Delta” visitarem el canyissar que envolta els filtres verds de l’Embut, un ambient on els éssers vius se senten, però rarament es poden observar i a on, per tant, les tècniques que usa l’Eloïsa són més que necessàries per a la detecció dels animals que hi viuen.

In areas where marsh vegetation predominates, a multitude of aquatic birds find refuge in the dense reed beds, where there are also a number of stretches of open water such as this, the “Bassa de Sineu”. These are fed by many of the wetland’s channels and lagoons, locally termed “lluents”.
