Resolucio a 1200x800

Bones, porto intentant des de fa molt de temps canviar la meva resolució de 1024x768 a 1200x800, he provat amb:

Codi: Selecciona’ls tots

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg


Però res.. com ho puc canviar?

Tens els controladors de la targeta gràfica instal·lats correctament?

De totes maneres, així hauria de funcionar no?

utilitzo un i810, i la targeta que utilitzo es una Mobile Intel 945GM Chipst Family si es que no m'equivoco..

Doncs si no m'equivoco sembla que està suportada... Has marcat l'asterisc a la resolucio que t'interessa quan fas sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg ?

Aquesta tarja la tinc jo al meu portàtil i em funciona perfectament a la resolució que tu vols.
Pots posar el teu xorg.conf per veure si t'hi puc donar un cop de mà?
Digues també, si us plau, la distribució que fas servir.

Si fico sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg i faig lo anterior en el apartat de les resolucions apareix també 1200x800, però a sistema > preferències > resolució de la pantalla no m'ho deixa escollir, que en contes de apretar enter (per acabar la configuració) tinc que fer alguna altre cosa?

Una cosa mes, després de ficar sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg i configurar-ho tot em diu:

Crec que dins aquesta secció hi podries afegir a modes la resolució que t'interessa (1280x800) a cada subsecció.

Prova-ho a veure si et funciona. El que m'estranya és que no se't hagi posat automàticament, ja que quan fas sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg t'hauria d'editar aquest arxiu.

no, si quant faig sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg i vaig a veure el fitxer es cambia i em fica la que vui, però no la puc escollir... [/code]

Bones, per a les targetes intel, per canviar la resolució s'ha d'instal·lar el paquet següent:

sudo apt-get install 915resolution

I després executar a consola:

Codi: Selecciona’ls tots

sudo 915resolution 24 1280 800

El "24" indica el mode. Hi ha qui ha posat "58". Prova amb això i ens contes.

Perfecte!!! es just el que volia, ara el gimp es menys atabalador i el beryl sembla que també funciona.
